Arbutus boundaries lie along West 16th in the north, King Edward Street in the south, East Boulevard and Quesnel Drive in the east and west correspondingly. This neighbourhood has a spectacular view of the North Shore Mountains and also the downtown core. Arbutus with its neighbourhood feel is made up of mainly single family homes with some townhouses and apartments. This is a neighbourhood for families, young professionals, students and seniors. The streets are tree lined with many green spaces for growing families and pets. The two parks of note are Trafalgar Park which is the largest green space and Carnarvon Park both offering recreational opportunities from baseball and soccer, a fitness circuit and children’s playgrounds. Also there are dog friendly off leash areas, jogging and walking paths.
